Kelly is a Canadian director, editor, and occasional sailboat dweller.

The first decade of her career was spent cutting music videos for globally acclaimed bands such as Bloc Party and Metronomy, alongside crafting commercials for major brands including Nike and Burberry.

Eventually, she pivoted into directing, pursuing a childhood dream.

 

Her editing background gives her a sharp eye for structure, a love of montage, and a mildly concerning reliance on rhythmic timelines.

Kelly is drawn to stories that are unusual, intimate, and a little strange. She chases goosebumps, oddball magic, and those “Why am I weeping?” moments.

​

She also makes films because it pays slightly better than full-time sailing.
